Healthcomms Consulting (HCC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Fielding as a Strategic Adviser, highlighting the consultancy’s place as the leading medical devices public affairs and market access agency.

Jackie recently stepped down from her position as a Vice President at Medtronic, one of the world’s largest medical device companies, a role she held for over 10 years. She has recently been appointed as Non-executive Director on the Board of the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

Jackie commented:

“I am thrilled to have joined the team at Healthcomms Consulting. Having worked with them for over ten years whilst at Medtronic, I have seen first-hand the personable, professional, and high impact public affairs support they provide. I am excited to be able to add my expertise and experience to further help them deliver for clients”.

Whilst at Medtronic Jackie held various other posts including Chair of BCIA (British Cardiovascular Intervention Association) and was a council member of BCIS (British Cardiovascular Intervention Society). She sat on the ABHI Board of Directors and was a member of the Government’s Ministerial Medical Technology Strategy Group.

Dan Jones, a Partner at Healthcomms Consulting said:

“Jackie has a wealth of experience and understanding and is a really exciting addition to the team. She will bring great strategic insight to our clients and an informed perspective on what’s happening in the NHS and how this will impact the life sciences sector. I first worked with Jackie when she joined the Board of ABHI almost a decade ago and I have always enjoyed working with her and learning from her knowledge and expertise. This is a significant step for Healthcomms Consulting that will support us to continue to provide the highest levels of service for our clients.”
