Dame Angela Pedder brings her expertise to Healthcomms Consulting

Healthcomms Consulting (HCC) announces that Dame Angela Pedder DBE has joined its Strategic Council, bringing her wealth of experience and insight having worked within the healthcare sector for over 40 years at national, regional, and local levels.

Sara Petela, managing director at HCC, said:

Angela’s insights in the NHS will be invaluable for our clients.  Rarely do you come across someone with so much experience of NHS transformations who is able to apply this at a strategic level into direct public affairs objectives, so we are delighted to have Angela’s expertise as part of HCC’s Strategic Council.”

Melissa Barnett, HCC’s deputy managing Director and PRCA Public Affairs Board member, added:

“As an experienced mentor and coach, Dame Angela works to support chief executives, executive directors, and emerging talent within NHS Trusts. She knows what it takes to be successful in these roles.”

Dame Angela’s previous roles have included, the Lead Chief Executive for the Devon Success Regime and Sustainability and Transformation Partnership, developing an integrated health and care system strategy and implementation programme. She was Chief Executive of the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust between 1996 and 2016 and has a wide experience of acute, community, mental health and learning disability service provision plus health and local authority commissioning.
